RUSSIAN WEAPONS ICON PACK IN GTA SA STYLE (Low Quality) BY LYNX 451

I. DESCRIPTION
This is a small modification for those people who love modding and Russian guns, but also love the spirit of the original game.

It includes a set of 20 icons in GTA SA Style for some more-or-less obscure/specific Russian guns as well as some classic favorites. The icons are meant to be used with various conversions that modders have done for GTA SA (Out of the top of my head, some have been done by Vindicator, emikiller, Mysterdogg, and Marksman)

Handguns: Makarov, Stechkin APS, GSh-18
SMG: OTS-02 Kiparis, Vityaz-SN, SR-2, PP-91
Rifles: SR-3M, AKM, AKMS, 9A91, VSK-94
Shotguns: KS-23M, TOZ-194, VEPR-12
Explosive/Heavy: RGO Grenade, RPG-26, RPG-7

I will add more icons in the future. I am currently re-doing all my earliest versions (When I had just learned how to create icons)

The icons were made from scratch, based on pics of their real counterparts. I tried to keep the level of detail to the maximum possible for an icon, but I am an amateur at this, so don't expect them to be perfect.

II. RECOMMENDED TOOLS

> Magic TXD or any other TXD editor you are familiar with.

> Mobile HUD (makes weapon icons look a little bit bigger, among other awesome visual changes)

II. INSTALLATION (2 OPTIONS)

DISCLAIMER: ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR FILES, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE NOT FAMILIAR WITH EDITING. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CRASHES/SCREWING SOMETHING UP IN YOUR GAME, JUST BECAUSE YOU WERE NOT FAMILIAR WITH EDITING.

The following steps are based on TXD editing while using Magic TXD. If you use another editor, these steps may not match what you see there.

2.1 Replacing an icon with Magic TXD:
1. Open your gun's TXD file using the program (colt45.txd, for example)
2. Look for the icon within the texture files.
3. Once you find it. Press "Edit" and select "Replace". A search window will pop up. Now look for the icon you want to replace it with (one of the .png files included in this mod)
4. When you select your file, another window will pop up. Make sure that the "Texture Name" box is the name of the TXD file of your gun plus the word 'icon'. For example, if you are editing the Pistol (colt45), it should say "colt45icon".
5. Hit "Replace" and then save.

2.2 Adding an icon with Magic TXD (In case your weapon doesn't have one):
1. Open your gun's TXD file using the program (cuntgun.txd, for example)
2. Press "Edit" and select "Add"
3. A search window will pop up. Now look for the icon you want to replace it with (one of the .png files included in this mod)
4. When you select your file, another window will pop up. Make sure that the "Texture Name" box is the name of the TXD file of your gun plus the word 'icon'. For example, if you are editing the Country Rifle (cuntgun), it should say "cuntgunicon".
5. Hit "Add" and then save.

III. CREDITS

All icons were made by Lynx-451 (me). Thanks to DK22Pac for creating Mobile HUD and Magic TXD.

I don't care for credits myself, but if you are a weapon modder and want to use any of these icons for distributing your mods, it would be nice to be acknowledged.
